[SOLD]Executive Rolltop Desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar

Edward Wormley designed this roll-top desk, model 912, for Dunbar in 1957.  Flanking the spacious central writing surface, rosewood tambour doors conceal two smaller sections each with two drawers. Below are three additional, shallow drawers with rosewood fronts. A hinged panel at the back drops down to convert the piece to a partner’s desk. The frame is ebonized mahogany and the hardware is brass.This stately executive desk by Edward Wormley for Dunbar is beautifully constructed of rosewood and mahogany. With two sliding roll-tops, a hinged panel which drops down to form continuous work surface for use as a partner’s desk, three lower drawers, and a small detached 2-drawer unit.
