Discerning customers from around the world have made Machine Age the ultimate destination for fine modernist and contemporary furniture. Occupying 9,000 square feet on South Boston’s waterfront, the retail showroom houses New England’s largest collection of twentieth-century furniture, lighting, and objects d’art. Prominently featured are timeless works by the most innovative and visionary names in European and North American design: Charles & Ray Eames, Florence Knoll, George Nelson, Jens Risom, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, Harvey Probber, Hans Wegner, Finn Juhl, Arne Vodder, and many others.

Machine Age also features one-of-a-kind artwork and custom productions. Offering a carefully chosen and constantly changing inventory, all pieces are in excellent original condition or refurbished with the finest textiles and quality finishes.
